Centas puts Barco’s most silent 8,000 lumens projector at the heart of the ESC congress
Barco’s RLM-W8 projector played a leading role in the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Stockholm. During the five day convention, a total of thirty RLM-W8 projectors made sure all 27,000 attendants could enjoy the presentations with front row view quality.
This year, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress, the largest medical meeting in Europe, took place in the vibrant city of Stockholm. To give all 27,000 attendants an optimal experience, the organization decided for the first time to use projection technology. After all, with that number of people attending, it was not always possible to seat everyone in the lecture halls. Thanks to the 30 HD video screens in the convention center, all attendants had the opportunity to follow all presentations they wanted.
Centas, a rental company with over 30 years of experience in providing projection technology for all kinds of fairs, events and conferences, was responsible for delivering the right technology for this job. After careful consideration, they decided to use the RLM-W8, Barco’s newest addition to its most silent projection range.
